We live in an area highly populated with LDS people. Which means when a holiday like Halloween or the 4th or July fall on a Sunday like they did this year, the community celebrates on Saturday. So we celebrated Halloween on Saturday. We kicked off our celebration by making some cookies with Maka (Kyle's mom). She has a cracked rib, so I wasn't really expecting her to be up to it. But she showed up "Super Maka" style with all the bells and whistles. Adney had a really good time with her. And we have loads of sugar cookies smothered with thick frosting and handfuls of candy to prove it.
After we made cookies we took a few pictures on the porch of the boys in their costumes. They were too cute.
Uncle Taylor showed up to take a picture too.
After that we rushed over to Trunk or Treat with our ward. Our friends, the Cowlings, came with us too. Adney and Liz are BFFs and have been pretty much since birth. So it was fun for Adney to have his friend with him. Kind of reminded me of Halloween two years ago. They were SO little! Oh how time flies. Anywho... Trunk or Treat was so fun! Adney got tons of candy, Kyle handed out candy, and Cammon slept in the car the entire time. It was good times.
After Trunk or Treat we ate some dinner and took baths. Then we were going to watch a movie. But Adney didn't last long.
We ended the night by a knock on the door from some Avatars who were visiting our neighbors. They backed into my car. It put a pretty good dent on the front driver's side of my Impala (aka the Mom-pala formerly known as the Pimp-pala). My door squeaks now when I open it which is fun.
Here are some other cute pictures that I took over the weekend.
That's all folks! Have a good start to your month!

I love all the pics you take. Your boys looked pretty cute in their costumes! I especially love the one with Adney zonked out on the couch!
I love Maka's green face and crazy hair! Cute, cute little boys, by the way. :)
