Walking down memory lane

SO... I love the idea of creating a photobook every year for my kids. Just documenting that year in their life. And I finished Adney's first year a few months before Cammon was born. And I have been working on the next two years. I have been using a company called Mixbook. I have tried lots of different photo book companies, and this one seems to be my favorite so far. They are easy to use, they have cute templates or you can create your own pages (which I prefer), and they are reasonably priced for such a high quality product. (hint: they do buy one get one free sales during the holidays).

SO... I have been going through photos and editing them to put in Adney's books and I found some treasures that I overlooked the first time around. I always do that.... pass up a picture at first and then rediscover it a year or more later and fall in love with it. So I wanted to share some of the treasures I found. Walk down memory lane with me....

We went fishing with Kyle's brother's family (July of 2009.... i think). Kyle snagged Adney and took him out on his floaty thingy for some father-son time. Pretty sure that is the official name for it... floaty thingy. Yup- look it up. How did I NOT love this picture in the first place? (Click on it to see it big and notice Adney's proud face as he reels in a fish with his daddy).
From the same fishing trip, Me and Candria from our "Mom post" on shore. I just love this picture for some reason. And it kind of makes me want bangs again.
Adney used to wander outside naked at our old apartment. Don't worry I would follow him (with my clothes on) and make sure he didn't get into too much trouble. But this picture just cracks me up: saggy diaper + my shoes on + rock in hand + the way he is standing = hilarious. (See Mom, I can do math).
Earlier in the summer of 09, my cousin Heidi got sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Her family all came out to witness it and they let me tag along for all the festivities. We went on a Hike one day at Heise Hot Springs. This is me and my cousin Stephanie. We were BFFs growing up and I just love her.
Ok, that is all for now. I'm sure you will have to take more strolls down memory lane with me soon as I go through more pictures. Random fact: I took 4 pictures of my family for all of November and December last year. How is that possible?! I blame it on me being pregnantly sick at the time. Oh well... what can you do.
