Not even kidding... I am eating a piece as I write this. And it's still delicious.
I also took a picture the day after Thanksgiving of my singular Thanksgiving decoration. I made it... which is why I took a picture. I don't just go around photographing random stuff in our house.
Then the day after thanksgiving I spent some money. haha. Not a ton. But enough to get Christmas presents bought for Adney, Cammon, and Kyle. And a few things for myself. Including these babies for $18 from Aldo (Originally $80)
Merry Christmas to me! If you are interested... Aldo still has a ton of shoes for way low prices (well... for Aldo). Am I the only one who wants to live in Aldo? I love me some pretty shoes. So Thanksgiving wouldn't be... THANKSgiving if I didn't take a moment to say what I am thankful for. So here it goes... I am grateful for my husband. He is the bees knees. He rocks my world. I am the luckiest girl ever to be married to him. And believe me when I say... there were many a disappointed girls when I won his heart (haha- I win, you lose).
I am grateful for the cutest little boys on the planet. They make me the happiest mommy ever. I am not completely convinced that I am not ruining them with bad parenting. I have no clue what I am doing. But they are forgiving and always exhibit unconditional love. They give me the chance to start over every day. I am grateful for that.
I am grateful for my Savior. Without him I am nothing. I owe all that I have to him.
I am grateful for this delicious cheesecake. It is melt in my mouth- to die for. And sad that I am on the last bite of this piece. But grateful that there is still half a cheesecake in the fridge and Kyle doesn't like cheesecake.
I am grateful for modern technology. I am not so much a science person. It boggles my mind how smart some people are. And I am grateful that they are. So that I can have nice things like plumbing and electricity and internet and cell phones. And lest I forget to mention baby swings that lull my baby when the monster (Adney) won't let me.
Ok... I think I will stop there. Because this post is getting mucho long-o. (I'm practically fluent in Spanish right?) But Happy Thanksgiving (I'm allowed to say that still right?) And now we get to dig our toes in to the deliciousness that is December. Plans for December include: Lots of decorating, ginger bread houses, turning 26 years old, baking lots, and probably gaining 5 pounds.
