It starts when Adney starts getting cranky. I can tell he is tired b/c I will ask him if he is sleepy and he will scream "I NOT SLEEPY!" while putting his hands on his hips. So then we usually put some cartoons on for a little bit and let him snuggle on the couch with a blanket until he realizes that he really IS sleepy. He gets all warm and relaxed and lazy. Its so cute. Then I usher him into his bed before he falls asleep. He usually says "Snuggle me Mommy"... and I do. Just for a few minutes and then I kiss him and tell him goodnight and walk out and close the door. For the next 20 minutes all I hear is Adney humming or talking to himself and then all goes quiet. Then I feel my own eyes feeling the temptation of a mid day siesta. Somedays I fight it and push through my sleepies so that I can clean or get other things done, and other days I curl up in bed for a few hours.
Today is a curl up in bed kind of day.
I love Naptime.

I miss naptime!! As of this last week Hunter has stopped taking naps all together!! But atleast Brooke is still taking them. If i really need a nap while she is sleeping i can put a movie in for Hunter atleast.
