Nesting is one of the weirdest programmed instincts, I think. I mean it makes total sense. Your body know that a new baby will be coming soon and so it sends out the signal to make a home for the baby. Afterall, babies need a home too. But, to feel the actual pull to nest is completely different from just understanding why it happens. Lately I can't go into a room without feeling an urgency to clean or fix or move something. I feel like a crazy person. And things I wouldn't normally notice, like a dusty air vent or light fixture, now bugs me to no end. All I can think about is how dirty and gross it is until I finally give in and clean it.
So I will be here, building my nest until my baby comes.
