I still don't have a job. That's the bad news. The good news is that there is hope. I have had a couple interviews- one with the Post register, which is my top choice at the moment. I also found a work from home job that looks like it is right up my ally. I think I might do both for a while until I can be sure that I can make enough money from home. The link to the website of my recruiter is here . You will have to let me know it it seems stupid that I am even considering it, or if it is actually a good idea. I am also considering about joining the website hiremymom.com to find more design jobs.
I am trying to be more optimistic about the whole job thing. I know that things will work out for me and there is no reason to be such a drama queen about it (see previous post). I will keep you posted on my success.

Good luck Miriam. I think that whatever job you choose, you will be good at. You are a hard worker and will make the best out of whatever you do. I hope that you will get the job at post register since it is at the top of your list. That is a good job, and you are very talented with that area and line of work. The other online jobs seem like they might be a little more challenging and skepitcal at a consistent pay. You will make the best decision for your family though, and that is what is important. I hope that everything else is going well for you!
yeah those online things look a little sketchy-- they don't come out front and tell you what you'd be doing, etc... big red flag that they are likely scams. you have so much raw talent, you gotta just use it. :)
Hey guys! cute blog. looks like you are about as camera happy with your first kid as I was:) Good luck with the job search. I remember after our first kid and my hubby was in school...I did a paper route and mowed lawns for our homeowners association to make money...uughh so glad that phase of life is over! They were good years but I am glad they are over!!:)
