So you know how babies like to breathe through their noses unless they are coughing or crying? Well they do. Not sure why... maybe because it would mess breast feeding up if they were trying to breathe through their mouths? Anywho... because of that I always try to keep one of these around...
So last night I woke up to Cammon cough/crying. And he wasn't breathing through his nose and sounded all stuffed up. So immediately I go running for the nasal aspirator (that's what it's called btw). But it isn't where I normally keep it. So I go rummaging through the house trying to find it frantically. All the while Cammon is getting more and more upset (poor guy). So finally I wake Kyle up and ask him if he has seen it. He tells me he saw Adney playing with it earlier. Oh great... it could be literally anywhere. So then I go digging through baskets of toys and in drawers full of socks... trying to think like Adney... if that is possible. Cammon is still coughing and crying and I can't find it! BAH!
And then I remembered a time when I was 8 years old and I couldn't find my church shoes, so I prayed to Heavenly Father to help me find them. And I never found them. But my sister let me borrow a pair of her shoes that Sunday. And then I remembered a time when I lost my keys and I prayed to find them, and I didn't find them for several days, but I had a spare key, so I was ok. None of these times were really very desperate. There were always other solutions. But Cammon needed me to find that Booger Ball (we call it that too) right now. So I got on my knees in my kitchen and and said a prayer that I would be able to find it. And do you know what? I got an immediate answer, something that rarely happens for me. My answers to prayers usually come through other people, which is great. But I didn't think my visiting teachers were going to knock on the door with a booger ball at 2 am. But an answer came right to my mind and I knew right where to look. And there it was! Under Kyle's desk in a box with a tire pump, a toy dinosaur, some mardi gras beads, and some crayons (Awesome).
So I got Cammon all cleared out and fed and back to sleep. And when he woke up every few hours with the same problem, the nasal aspirator was sure nice to have.
I am just so grateful for that answer to my prayer! I have always known that my prayers are heard. But it was nice to have one so immediately answered for my little boy. Heavenly Father hears me! I just feel so loved and had to share.

I love you....& your posts! When are you becoming our neighbors again?.......
That's so awesome. The same thing happened with my phone last night too. Kyla said a prayer that we could find my phone (her own idea)and after she said it 3 minutes later we found it! I was so glad it was such a testimony builder for such a young spirit for Kyla. He truly does answer our prayers! What a blessing it is!
Thanks for sharing. I really like it when my prayers are immediatly answered too. I am also really grateful he hears me and grateful for the nose suckers :)
