Just saying the word makes my mouth water. MMMM...... Kobe. On one of Kyle's trips he picked up some Kobe Steaks from a Wagyu (Wa-goo) beef cattle ranch. He got them for free, but normally if you buy them at the store they are easily $50 per steak and at a restaurant you can plan on paying at least $100. Let me tell you, I used to think that that was ridiculous, who would pay that much for a steak? But then after eating one... its definitely worth it. We ate it for Sunday dinner today. So tender. Its as easy to eat as a really moist piece of chicken. We still have some more in our freezer and I don't think they will last very long. Kyle is talking about buying some waygu seamen to make a half breed, which he tells me is nearly as yummy. And I am actually not opposed to it. Even though before this I have not been excited about owning cattle. Anyhow, who ever knew Sunday dinner could be so exciting?
