Personal Progress

Did you know that I am the personal progress leader in our ward? Well... I am. And I love it. I haven't been doing it for very long so I feel like I am still getting my footing. Working with teenage girls is probably my favorite thing ever though. They are so beautiful and so full of promise. And they are just kids, and they are aware of that fact. So their hearts are still soft and willing to learn. I heart them. Grown ups just take themselves too serious sometimes. At least, I know I do.

You wanna see something I am working on?
Cute huh?
Did you know that the Personal Progress Program is online? It's just like the book, only it's digital. And instead of getting your scriptures out to read the required scriptures, you just click on the link. And you can keep a digital journal on your page while you work. And your Young Woman leaders or parents can sign off on them online. It's cool.

You wanna know the coolest part? Old ladies, like myself, can still participate. Yeah, yeah, I know... I already got my Young Womanhood Recognition when I was a teenager too. But you can totally do it again. And it will be a completely different experience now that you are a grown up (unless you aren't a grown up yet, in which is won't be different at all). And you can even get the new ribbons that go with it as you go... just like a youth would. And it will be so fun and you will grow and learn and become a better person (and and and).

Just thought you would think it is as cool as I think is. You do? Sweet, lets be friends.

I started (restarted?) on my Personal Progress today. Online even.

My sister (who is at BYUI) never completed Personal Progress while in YW, so she is doing it now.
I can't believe you love working with the YW. Eeek... I get terrors of the day I am called in to that program! :-)

Sweet! Personal progress is sooo much fun! The Young Women's secretary is in charge of our personal progress down here. It keeps her super busy. We had a personal progress activity tonight! Divine Nature #7. I bet you love working with the young women. They are the BEST! The strength of the youth in the church is amazing. It humbles me to be in their presence.
