The Good. The bad.

So-- I'm not feeling very funny tonight. Do you ever have those days? When your lovers' jokes just don't make you laugh as much as they normally do and life seems more serious than it should. So sorry if this is bland and boring.

I have a few things to report though. Good news and bad news.

First: (The good news. duh.)- Kyle has an interview in Arizona next week for nursing school. We are really rooting for him to do well and get in. It is an awesome school and ridiculously close to my sister Leah. It would be the first time in my married life that I lived within 4 hours of a member of my family. SO... I especially want to move there. And it would be a quick and effective way for Kyle to get his second degree in nursing. He has submitted applications into a few other places- but Arizona is our first pick at the moment. University of Utah is our second pick.

Second: (bad news boo)- Kyle has been pretty sick lately. Not like flu sick or anything... but like there is something wrong with his insides. (Yeah I know... that's vague as crap but I don't really feel comfortable going into details and symptoms until we know more.) He has been in a lot of pain and had lots of Doctor's appointments-- cat scans and such. So far they haven't solved anything. But he is seeing a specialist later this month and hopefully we will come up with something then. In the meantime... the poor guy is just struggling. He never complains about how he is feeling...well almost never. And the only way I can measure how he is feeling is by how much work he is missing. Which is really really unlike him. Which is maybe why I'm not feeling very funny. I am so worried about the whole thing. I know everything will be ok... but I just hate seeing the love of my life in pain. And not knowing what is causing it sucks too.

So that's all for now. Keep us in your prayers for the good and the bad news. We could use all the help we can get. :) (I just couldn't press the "publish post" button without including a picture or two.... Adney and I took these a few days ago. I just love that boy.)

I have a freakishly long tongue btw.

Where in Arizona? Phoenix area? If so, we'll have to get together!

I'm sorry about Kyle. Jason has been having bad back problems, where he can't sleep well and can't find a comfortable place to sit or stand ever...that plus bad/no sleep has been hard on him. I know it's not the same thing, but I understand worrying and sympathizing and aching for the one you love. Hope the doctors can figure things out!
