A tiny babe, snug and safe
So warm and weak in my arms
I hold him tight and breath deeply
trying to make a memory
of exactly how he is at that very moment
How he smells
How he feels
How he sounds
Because I know babies don't last
Like ice cubes on a hot day or
The sun as evening comes
They change and grow so quickly
He is little now, but not for long
And then after my memory is made
My mind wanders
Imagining what kind of man he will be
What he will look like
What he will do in this world
Who he will love
He is a wealth of possibility
A future waiting to be written
And my heart swells with love
And I pray that I will raise him well
That he will walk in truth
And be noble and brave
But for now, I rock my baby
And whisper sweet nothings in his tiny ears
And wrap his tiny hand around my finger
Cammon at 6 Months:
Cammon is 18 pounds. He eats tons of baby food. He still LOVES nursing. He rolls... and rolls... and rolls. He is getting so strong. He thinks Adney is the coolest person ever and smiles and laughs at him constantly. He has started throwing fits when you take something away that he isn't supposed to have (Mostly cell phones and remotes). He almost sits up on his own. He can for a little bit now... but falls on his head after 15 seconds or so. He is wearing size 6-9 month clothes. His head is GINORMOUS. He is still waking up 2-4 times every night. He is a big MAMAS BOY. Which I kind of love, if I am honest with myself. He doesn't have the "baby" smell anymore (Which kind of breaks my heart). He is the happiest little guy ever! He is seriously all smiles and content most of the time.

2-4 times a night, you poor thing! Maybe try some cereal before bedtime...
Six months DOES go by so fast! I keep forgetting to comment, so thanks for commenting on mine ;). Your little man is not so little!! 18 lbs!! Crazy! I hope you get the night thing figured out :(.
Oh and your post reminded me to do my post - and then I realized how similar they were!! Take it as a compliment - you're just an awesome blogger/writer!
