This morning we woke up and went to play outside for a little bit. Adney was being so silly!
I turned my back for two seconds and turned to find him running through the sprinklers in front of our apartment. It was so cute. I thought he would run out and then realize it was cold and come back to the safety of the sidewalk. But he played in the water for ten minutes.
Below is the after shot, as you can tell, he is pretty wet.
Then he got his pool out and sat in it, even though it was empty. He is so silly and keeps me on my toes every minute. I am so glad he isn't sick anymore. He is so happy and imaginative when he feels well.
Later in the day we were playing outside again while we ate a snack. He kept making this face at me when I wouldn't let him have the camera. Sorry bud.
All in all, it was a fun summer day. I am already dreading the fall. We decided that I will for sure be getting a job in September, so I am trying to cherish the fun and carefree days that Adney and I are having this summer. Speaking of which, anyone have any recommendations on where I should get a job? I am going to start looking like crazy next week. Boo.

That's so fun! Kyla loves the sprinklers too. As far as the job thing goes, what kind of job are you looking for and for how many hours? Melaleuca is a pretty good place (both Hyrum and I have worked there before) and if you want minimal hours they have a thing called "Hot shot" where you only have to work 4 or 5 days out of the whole month. It's pretty sweet.
It looks like you guys are taking full advantage of the summer, way to go! Adney is such a cute little guy, he's looking so grown up these days. And that mad face he does....so funny and he looks like he's serious too! I won't mess with him any time soon! =)

Good luck on the job hunting. That is never fun. Adney's little suit outfit was adorable Sunday, and I love that mad face he is making in the picture. What a cool kid!
