October Fest

Do you ever get the feeling that you are forgetting something? And then you remember what it is but decide to forget about it until later? And then you do that continuously for 4 months? Yeah that is me and blogging. I just wasn't feeling it lately. But it is a new year and I am trying to remember all the things I forgot about in 2011. Blogging... exercise... journaling.... that candy isn't part of a well balanced diet... that craft I started 9 months ago but never finished. Yeah... all good things. So for the next few days I will play catch up.... think of it as a walk down memory lane... only it's my memory and not yours. Then after memory lane I will (hopefully) have something better to contribute.

October began with a trip to Moab. Have you been? I was kind of geeking out.... a lot. I thought it was the coolest place ever. So incredibly rich in history and geologically fascinating. We went with some of Kyle's family. It was so fun. We hiked and played and had a grand ol time. And I took a crapload of pictures. Moab is a photographer's play place. So excuse the excessive amount of pictures.

Windows.

Eating Sand at the Sand Dune Arch.

Sand Dune Arch. Basically a big sandbox under and arch. SO fun.

At the landscape arch.... although you can't tell bc whoever took the picture didn't even include it. haha

Delicate Arch. By far my favorite hike.

Landscape arch and the 2 cutest brothers ever.

Delicate Arch view from underneath another arch.

I still can't believe he climbed  up that huge rock. Little hiking stud.

Super Dad?

My father in law who I adore.

This is the "Mom... stop taking my picture already" face.
So yeah, that was Moab. 2 days of hiking bliss. If you haven't been I highly recommend it. I know I am definitely going back.
